50 Worst WCW Moments Ever

32. WCW’s Own Screwjob Tribute

The 'Montreal Screwjob' would chase Bret Hart around like a bad smell until he exorcised some demons in 2010. In 1999, someone behind the scenes at WCW had the "bright" idea of repeating the WWF's stitch up at Starrcade. The catch? Bret would be on the other side of the coin this time.

Roddy Piper screwed Goldberg when Hart had him locked in the Sharpshooter. Why!? Just why? This didn't do a damn thing for WCW's weekly product, and was only scripted to try and make people think back to Survivor Series 1997. That was two full years ago by the time Starrcade '99 happened.

Total guff, and uninspired storytelling to the extreme.
