The Shockmaster debuted at Clash Of The Champions XXIV on 18 August 1993 and literally fell flat on his face. Or, "flat on his fookin' arse", as Davey Boy Smith said on air. The moment went down in biz history as one of the worst ever, and it'd come to define poor Fred Ottman's entire career.

According to legend, WCW staffers had nailed a piece of wood to the bottom of a wall Shocker was supposed to burst through. They did that post-rehearsals, and Ottman didn't know it was there. Thus, he tripped and his sparkly Stormtrooper helmet fell off.
