50 Worst WCW Moments Ever

3. The Fingerpoke Of Doom

Loads of fans credit this one moment as the true beginning of the end for WCW as a viable, growing product. Kevin Nash disputes that, and he's right to point out that so much rubbish happened after 4 January 1999, but there's no defending how poor a bit of booking the infamous "Fingerpoke Of Doom" was.

It came at the end of an epic three-hour Nitro that was supposed to settle the score between warring nWo leaders once and for all. Instead, Hollywood Hogan gently tapped Nash in the chest, 'Big Sexy' took a dive, and the pair celebrated together because the band was back together.

People in the cavernous Georgia Dome hadn't sat all night to witness that, and neither had TV viewers.
