The past couple of years, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian were one of the highlights of TNA. They could go in the ring, they were funny on the mic, and made their opponents look good. Somehow this wasnt enough to keep them employed with the company. Over the past couple of years, one TNA wrestler after the next was let go, but Bad Influence stung worse than most. Those guys were there from the beginning, successfully changed their characters over the years, made less money than all the former WCW and WWE castoffs, and yet werent re-signed when times got tough. Sometimes being in the business must feel like a futile venture, as you have to imagine what more they could have done to have kept their jobs.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
