WWE had a hand in producing the minor hit Occulus. To celebrate the launch of the DVD release, they decided to get cute. Adam Rose (poor Adam) was enlisted to try and get more people to see the movie by starring in a sketch where he went face-to-face with the mirror from the film. Why did someone bring that thing to a WWE show in the first place? Eh, who knows. Well, as Rose looked into the mirror, the camera zoomed in, creepy music started to play (where did that come from?), and we were magically transported into his brain where he saw himself as a guy in a business suit. You would need at least half-a-dozen swear words to fully capture how sour it was.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
