TNA has had some lousy stables in their tenure (World Elite, EV 2.0, Immortal), but none have been so infuriatingly awful as The Menagerie. What started out as an intriguing idea with Knux visiting his hometown to try and save his family business turned into a loud, over-the-top, obnoxious gang of weirdos. It was like The Oddities back in the Attitude Era, but somehow even worse. Poor Knux, who does have some talent, has been stuck leading the group while wearing an old ringmaster outfit. Crazy Steve wasnt half the clown that Doink was, Rebel had no business being in a wrestling ring, and The Freak was just TNAs 900th attempt to keep Rob Terry employed for some reason. Also, whoever thought it was wise to play the circus theme throughout their entire matches must be the real freak!
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
