Theres a classic episode of The Twilight episode where Burgess Meredith doesnt have time to read, and finally gets the chance when the world is destroyed in a nuclear war. He appears to be the only survivor, and just as hes about to enjoy a lifelong adventure with his beloved books his glasses breaks. He could no longer see. What he had been hoping for, for so long was now gone. Take out the nuclear bombs and we have the story of Daniel Bryan this year! Bryan had been overlooked and underappreciated ever since he started in WWE. After spending years of making a name in the indies, he joined the company only to be constantly mocked by the announcers on air. He was then fired as soon as he took part in the hot Nexus angle, later he lost to Sheamus in 18 seconds at WrestleMania, and only through CM Punk quitting and Batista flopping did he finally get his Mania moment. Then, shortly after he was on top of the world as champion he was injured and spent the rest of the years on the sidelines. No. Thats not fair. Thats not fair at all!
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
