6 Great NXT Performers That Have No Chance In WWE

2. Tyler Breeze

Let's get this out of the way, Tyler Breeze is a gem. His character, his performance, his ability in the ring, his brand new theme song (sung by himself) are all outstanding. His understanding of who his character is, down to his mannerisms and the fact that never at any point during a match or promo (by himself of somebody else) does he break character for even a millisecond is proof that he has completely encompassed this character. When he's in the ring or on an NXT screen, he is not a performer portraying Tyler Breeze, he is Tyler Breeze. It seems like a silly distinction to make but it's the difference between the great performers in the WWE, and the ones that aren't quite up to snuff. Couple this with the fact that Tyler Breeze is a phenomenal athlete and terrific wrestler (trained by one of the best technical wrestlers ever, Lance Storm) and its hard to imagine that this guy doesn't have everything you need to be successful in the WWE. That said, you can't help but worry about what would happen to Prince Pretty if he were called up to the main roster. The fact is that he is a smaller guy, and on the main roster we've seen just that fact derail several promising superstars. You also have to account for the fact that his character, the self-centred model is more in the same vein as Adam Rose and Fandango, both characters I don't expect to be stars on Raw or Smackdown in the years to come. Both those guys would be lucky to have a solid Intercontinental or U.S. Title run. If you were to poll people who watch Breeze on NXT, you'd find that most of them believe that he is a great performer and is absolutely entertaining in and out of the ring. He has all the tools to at the very least rule the mid-card of the WWE, and possibly be a guy you could throw out there against top guys and put on a great show. The question isn't what we think, it's what Vince and the higher ups think. With that in mind, it's just hard to imagine that they'd attach more value to him than they would another niche character like Fandango or Adam Rose.
