6 "Greatest" Moments From WCW's Hogan vs Warrior Feud
4. The Warrior Fights For WCW's Namesake! Unfortunately
At the 1998 Fall Brawl PPV, Warrior would be making his first PPV appearance for WCW. Their flagship match, War Games, would be fought with three teams this year as opposed to 2. There would be Team nWo Hollywood, nWo Wolfpac, and Team WCW. Finally, Warrior would be getting his chance to get his hands on Hogan. As the match wound down, the ring filled with smoke and ah-ha! The Warrior had appeared inside the sealed cage! But alas, Hulkster had grabbed him before The Warrior even knew what was up! Shame on you, however, if you thought he was done for. As quickly as the smoke dissipated, it once again filled the ring, then when it was gone again, so was The Warrior! Only his jacket remained. Suddenly, he emerges from the back, running at full force! To the delight of probably 3 or 4 people! Once in the ring, Hogan pulled the ol' Texas Switch, and locked Warrior inside the cage. Ha! Hollywood, you fool, Warrior can teleport! He just did it! Now, watch as he does it again! Sure enough, Warrior does teleport out of the ring, only, to the untrained eye, it appeared that he just kicked the cage a whole bunch until he could crawl out of a hole, drop 4 feet and sprain both his ankles. It may not have looked like much, but I guarantee there was something supernatural about it. He then limped at a quick pace after Hogan. The best million dollars ever spent.
Caliber Winfield is more legend. Despite making up every rumor himself, they're all true. He's so manly he has to shave his eyeballs, and he was mistaken for The Rock as well as Ryan Gosling in the same day, both men said it was the greatest day of their life when they heard the news.
