6 "Greatest" Moments From WCW's Hogan vs Warrior Feud

3. Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall, Wh---THIS WAS PUT ON NATIONAL TV?!

After seeing that no zip-tie-attached chainlink could hold The Warrior, Hogan was without a doubt shaken. The night of October 5th, 1998 most definitely did not do anything to ease his nerves, as it was the night his best friend Eric Bischoff drank a tub of paint thinner and lost his mind. This particular evening saw Hogan & Bish' looking for The Disciple. I assume he was somewhere trying to sell the writers on a new gimmick for himself based on the Chupacabra. Either way, they couldn't find him. As Hogan convalesced near a mirror, suddenly The Warrior appeared in it. Hogan recoiled in fear, unsure of what he was seeing. He suddenly began speaking to the image, letting it know he knew the deal, he knew the plan. Of course, anyone watching could see The Warrior too, including the announcers, which is surprising, as I assume Bischoff would have told them to play along with not seeing it. Someone clearly told Schiavone what was going down, because if they hadn't, we would have witnessed his death, Scanners style, when he saw the mirror trick. Either that, or he would have used one of his world-famous excuses-for-a-blunder where he explained the reason we could all see The Warrior was because we all have a little evil in our hearts. Or because it's a two-way. But he's sure it's the evil thing. Now, the brilliance of all this, was Bischoff acted like he couldn't see it. He ranted & raved at Hogan that he was crazy, that nothing was there. Then Warrior disappeared from the mirror, yet still Hogan could see it. It's the most asinine moment in pro-wrestling, and the fact no one reported WCW to their local SVU police unit after having to see this is amazing to me.

Caliber Winfield is more legend. Despite making up every rumor himself, they're all true. He's so manly he has to shave his eyeballs, and he was mistaken for The Rock as well as Ryan Gosling in the same day, both men said it was the greatest day of their life when they heard the news.
