6 More Bizarre WWE Coincidences

3. Pillman & Hart's Place Of Death

Brian Pillman & Owen Hart will forever go down as two of the most unique & talented individuals of their generation, both of them undeniably taken from this planet too soon. Morbidly, the two wrestlers have an interesting connection relating to the arenas they passed away in.

While Brian Pillman was preparing to wrestle at the Bad Blood 1997 pay-per-view in St. Louis' Kiel Center, he suffered a heart attack a few blocks over in his hotel room and passed away a few hours before the show. According to his close friend Steve Austin, this was due to a previously undetected arteriosclerotic heart disease, the same disease that lead to the death of Brian's father. The next night, the WWF paid their respects with a Raw tribute show held at Kansas City's Kemper Arena.

Well, just a year and a half later, Owen Hart's harness would infamously detach at Over the Edge 1999 and result in the 'King of Harts' falling 78-feet chest-first towards the ring below. This taking place in the same Kemper Arena to hold Pillman's tribute would be coincidental enough, but the fact Owen's tribute show the next night just so happened to be in the Kiel Center almost feels somehow poetic.

Rest in peace, you absolute legends.
