6 More WWE Stars Who Tried Out MMA

1. Kid Kash

ECW, WCW, WWE, TNA - Kid Kash is no stranger to any of these pro wrestling promotions. While best known for his ECW and TNA work, Kash was actually Cruiserweight champion in the WWE, a title he won at 2005's Armageddon PPV. In 2008, however, Kash also made a foray into the world of mixed martial arts. By all accounts, it wasn't a terrible debut: ahead on the judges scorecards at a Premier Sports Group event, Kash wound up with a decision loss due to points deducted for several infractions throughout the bout. Still, a loss is a loss, and Kash never fought another MMA bout, opting instead to focus on professional wrestling. That was probably a wise decision. MMA is a rough sport to transition to, especially later in your career. Still, credit to Kash (and all of these fighters) for giving it a shot. Now it waits to be seen how CM Punk will fare, with the added pressure of being in the world's largest MMA promotion for his debut.
