6 Most Successful WWE Hell In A Cell Wrestlers Ever
3. Shawn Michaels
Out of four appearances inside Hell in a Cell, Shawn Michaels has won three. These came against The Undertaker at Badd Blood in 1997, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and Big Show at Unforgiven in 2006, and Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase at Hell in a Cell in 2009. This gives Shawn Michaels a winning percentage of 75%.
'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels is one of the best professional wrestlers of all time, and it's only fitting that he would be the very first man to win inside Hell in a Cell. With the help of a debuting Kane, Michaels would be able to topple The Undertaker, despite having been nearly decimated at the hands of The Deadman.
His next two victories would both come alongside his D-Generation X counterpart, Triple H, first at Unforgiven 2006 where they defied the odds in a three-on-two handicap match, involving Michaels dropping an elbow on Shane McMahon with a chair around his neck, and Triple H literally breaking a sledgehammer across the back of Mr. McMahon's head.
They would then reunite to combat Legacy in 2009, walking out victorious once again at the Hell in a Cell PPV.
