6 Most Successful WWE Hell In A Cell Wrestlers Ever
4. Randy Orton
Out of six appearances inside Hell in a Cell, Randy Orton has won three. These came against John Cena at Hell in a Cell 2009, Sheamus at Hell in a Cell in 2010, and Daniel Bryan at Hell in a Cell in 2013. This gives Randy Orton a winning percentage of 50%.
All three of Randy Orton's victories inside the Devil's Playground came at the event's annual PPV, first against John Cena over the course of their long-running feud that saw the WWE Championship change hands a number of times. This became very personal, and Orton would deliver a rare-seen punt kick to retain the championship and continue the rivalry.
Orton would successfully retain the WWE Championship again the following year against Sheamus, and his next victory would come in a high-stakes match against Daniel Bryan three years later in 2013. In a brutal match in which Orton delivered a huge Superplex to Daniel Bryan onto a pile of steel chairs, appearances by Triple H and a superkick from Shawn Michaels to Daniel Bryan would be all it took to allow Randy Orton to retain the WWE Title yet again.
