6 New Directions For WWE After Clash Of Champions 2017

1. Either Shane McMahon Or Daniel Bryan Turning Heel

The smart money is on a Shane McMahon heel turn, but it wouldn't be unimaginable for WWE to try and convince fans that Daniel Bryan is worth booing post-Clash Of Champions. It wouldn't work, but this is the same company who bang heads against brick walls when it comes to Roman Reigns. Let's not forget that.

Seriously though, a Shane heel turn is money. McMahon is excellent at being smug, and if he lords his power over an everyman like Bryan it could lead to some serious heat. Creative should be mindful of copying what happens between authority figures on Raw for sure, but the nicey-nice friendship between Shane and Daniel has been crawling along lately and needs a change.

After Bryan fast-counted in favour of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on Sunday, expect Shane to admonish his GM on the next SmackDown. KO and Zayn were McMahon enemies after all, and he'll be furious that his own staff member prevented him from ridding WWE of those rivals.
