Almost three years on from getting physical with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania 31, ex-UFC star Ronda Rousey will work her very first WWE match in New Orleans at 'Mania 34. That sign-pointing appearance at the Rumble was there to throw a curve ball your way. Disregard it.

In time, Rousey will wrestle the likes of Asuka, Charlotte Flair and perhaps Alexa Bliss, but there's a bigger fish to fry before WWE get to that. Oh no, the company haven't forgotten the seeds sown back in 2015, and they'll want to deliver on that Ronda vs. Stephanie tease this coming April.

The Wrestling Observer (who else?) have already reported it.

It won't be The Rock who stands next to Rousey on 8 April. She's highly likely to have a different partner, and it'll have to be a big name to fill Dwayne's shoes. Whoever it is though, the real story will be that Ronda freakin' Rousey is now a WWE superstar.
