6 NXT Tag Teams That Everybody Forgot About

3. Angelo Dawkins And Sawyer Fulton

How Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton have remained employed for so long is a mystery to many, given how merciless NXT talent cullings can be.

The pair have both been on the books since the brand's inception, cycling through numerous gimmicks both before and after they were brought together as part of the 'Shoot Nation' amateur wrestling-themed stable on the NXT house show circuit, which also consisted of Jason Jordan, Chad Gable and Tucker Knight.

The stable as a whole never made it to television, as Jordan/Gable and Dawkins/Fulton were both paired up separately without establishing any association between them (Knight would have to wait two more years before making it on screen alongside Otis Dozovic as part of Heavy Machinery).

Dawkins and Fulton appeared on seven separate NXT episodes over the course of 2015, doing the job each and every time to the likes of the Vaudevillains and Blake and Murphy (who are surefire candidates for a future iteration of this list, given that they've both been missing in action for over a year now).

The pair remain embedded in the tag team division - Dawkins as one half of Street Profits alongside Montez Ford, and Fulton ostensibly as a member of SAnitY despite being seemingly removed following an injury late last year.

If either of them do eventually make the step up, they'll set records for the longest times in developmental, having now surpassed the five years that Tyler Breeze spent there.
