Having spent much of NXT's last arc doing everything he can to get Aleister Black's attention, The Velveteen Dream will finally meet the former Tommy End at TakeOver: WarGames, and it should be one of the night's most interesting bouts.

Dream and Black couldn't be more different. One is flamboyant and extroverted, displaying influences as diverse as Prince and Goldust as he carves out a unique developmental niche, while the other is cold, stoic, and guarded. Their interactions have highlighted NXT television over the past few weeks, but it's time for them to get down to business, with Black the likeliest victor.

Both have tremendous upside, but Dream is still a work-in-progress. He's just three years into his wrestling career, and there's no rush to push him at the moment, despite his act's relative success thus far. Putting him over Aleister wouldn't be the worst idea in the world, but the Dutchman's undefeated streak still has legs, and probably shouldn't come to an end until he hits the card's upper reaches. Overcoming Dream strengthen his case for an NXT Title shot, so let's hope it comes to pass.
