6 Positives And 4 Negatives Heading Into WWE Survivor Series 2016
1. Positive — Brock Lesnar Vs. Goldberg
Finally, we arrive at probably the biggest positive heading into this year’s Survivor Series—both figuratively and literally.
After weeks—arguably years—of anticipation, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg will once again do battle in a WWE ring when they take centre stage on Sunday evening. Given that this will be Goldberg’s first outing in a dozen years, and the fact that any Lesnar appearance is worth checking out, this match just about sells itself on name value alone.
On top of that though, WWE has managed to do an excellent job of building this feud into perhaps the most anticipated match of the entire year. Goldberg has been handled brilliantly since coming back into the fold, unbelievably more so than in his initial run, and it’s only made this feud feel all the more special.
For the in-ring segments, the backstage promos, as well as the promise of seeing one more spear or one more jackhammer, I personally can’t look beyond this one as the most noteworthy positive ahead of Survivor Series 2016.
