2. Ember Moon Can't Stop Asuka

TakeOver: Brooklyn III should be Ember Moon's big night.

Defeated by Asuka in Orlando, then injured in the aftermath, the fallen challenger was forced to go back to the drawing board. The past few months have seen WWE build a lengthy comeback story that should've sent her popularity through the roof, and presented her as the logical person to finally end the NXT Women's Champion's unparalleled undefeated streak, but it hasn't quite worked.

Ember is a tremendous wrestler, but her story just hasn't connected. Defeating Asuka should be a huge, career-defining moment for whoever has the honour, but Ember doesn't feel like the right person to do it anymore, and pulling the trigger in Brooklyn would be a big mistake.

WWE have been very careful in the way they book Asuka. Hers is the strongest push in NXT, and in a promotion crippled by 50/50 booking, it has created an absolute monster. The company know her value, and understand that if they have her fall to somebody like Ember, who doesn't have the same level of credibility, they'll be harming the women's division's biggest asset. Expect another loss for Moon, and for Asuka's reign to endure.
