6 Problems WWE Solved In The 2019 Draft

5. Monster Separation

Big beefy boys on SmackDown
WWE

While Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar both being drafted to SmackDown is a mixed bag that we'll dive into later in the article, separating 'The Monster Amongst Men' from WWE's other colossus was a smart move.

Bobby Lashley was always going to look like a lesser monster after losing the awesome Strowman feud. It was vital that WWE pulled them apart as a result and now, with few other big lads in his way, Lashley can make that lane his own.

His presentation is key, though. This cuckolding angle has to go. It's the absolute dirt worst and calibrated solely to bury Rusev, meaning Lashley will gain next to nothing from it in the long run. Here's hoping the company listen to the response, change course, and finally figure out how to present Bobby in his best form on the main roster.

There once was a time when Vince McMahon couldn't get big, athletic freaks wrong. Increasingly, it seems like he can't get them right these days. Keeping Bobby away from Strowman and Lesnar at least gives them the opportunity to try without unwanted comparisons.
