6 Problems WWE Solved In The 2019 Draft

4. Splitting Sasha & Becky

Big beefy boys on SmackDown
WWE

Ensuring Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks ended up on different shows was all WWE could really do after what went down at Hell In A Cell.

Theirs was a blistering stipulation match rife with fun, innovative spots, and held together by a brutal undercurrent of violence, with the outcome necessitating a switch. 'The Boss' had failed to come Raw Women's Champion for the second consecutive pay-per-view. Diminishing returns would have crept in had Banks been thrown into another rematch, particularly after such a blistering HIAC encounter, and with Becky still holding the red brand's strap, SmackDown was the answer.

Banks and Lynch would have inevitably run into each other as two of Raw's top names. Yes, WWE have created a new problem in that they've probably forced themselves into Becky vs. Charlotte instead, but at least Banks can move onto something fresh, new, and interesting.

Although Sasha has excelled as a heel since returning, that long-awaited Bayley feud may finally be on the horizon. Or they could just stay together as best friends destroying all the goobers beneath them. Both storylines work.
