6 Reasons Why The Undertaker Should Win At WWE SummerSlam
The rubber match should be WWE's goal.
The Undertaker has returned to WWE programming to seek retribution from the man that defeated him and his historic Streak at WrestleMania 30. Regardless of how easy it is to question why Undertaker waited so darn long to go after Lesnar, the ride has been entertaining thus far. Between Paul Heyman's promos and that exciting pull-apart brawl, emotions are at an all time high for this match.
On the surface, this seems like it should be an easy match for Lesnar. He absolutely dismantled Undertaker at their WrestleMania match and has been an unstoppable behemoth in the year and a half since their mathup. No one has pinned or submitted Brock and if it hasn't been for shenanigans, he'd still be the reigning and defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion right now.
Even though logic states that Lesnar can easily beat Undertaker, there's far better reasons why WWE should go in the other direction. I'm generally an advocate for the more veteran talent putting over the younger talent, but not in this case. There's more to be gained for WWE if Undertaker should win.
In this article, I will explore six reasons why Undertaker should win in his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
6. Lesnar Owes Him The Win
942702The first reason that Undertaker needs to win is the simplest. The last time they locked up, Brock Lesnar won clean. Now that it's a year and a half later, Lesnar owes him the favors of putting him over.
Brock conquered The Streak at WrestleMania 30, catapulting this current monster run that he's on. He's benefited from the monumental Undertaker win and now can help The Deadman's status as he resumes a more than once a year role in WWE.
The novelty of his legendary career is enough for him to be a draw, but a win over The Beast Incarnate would be a gigantic boost in clout. No man has pinned or submitted Lesnar since The Streak ended and if Undertaker accomplishes that task, he'll be even more of an attraction than he already his.
