Almost every year, the Money in the Bank ladder match contains a number of individuals that fans have no interest in seeing win. Last year Alberto Del Rio was nobody's favourite, whilst 2015 saw Sheamus, Roman Reigns, Kane and Randy Orton involved. Jack Swagger, Big Show, Tensai, Alex Riley and Justin Gabriel are also among former MitB competitors.

A solid argument can be made for any of the six men confirmed for 2017 taking home the briefcase. Even Baron Corbin, far and away the least proficient in the squared circle, would be a popular winner. Corbin's surly attitude and lone wolf persona lends well to the briefcase trope - he really wouldn't care where or when he cashed it in.

Sami Zayn winning would represent a true victory for the good guys, whereas Kevin Owens taking home the briefcase is a perfect fit for his character. For Dolph Ziggler it would be vindication, whilst for Shinsuke Nakamura it would be further confirmation that he is as good as they say he is. Finally, AJ Styles winning anything tends to go down well.

Even if Rusev were to be added to the match (as is heavily rumoured), The Bulgarian Brute would be another popular winner. The 2017 Money in the Bank ladder match could well be one of those rare occurrences - a WWE match that can't have a disappointing outcome.
