Towards the end of the podcast, Roberts asks Joe about his interactions with Vince McMahon. Joe's has indeed met the boss (obviously), but admits to not truly knowing what the Genetic Jackhammer thinks of his NXT Champion.

One can assume the opinion is high due to his championship status, but that also comes with the assumption that Vince pays attention to NXT.

What Joe does say is that he believes Vince McMahon to be the ultimate poker player. Joe recalls his meeting with Vince, saying that he received 'this coy smile where's like, 'very nice to meet you' and on the other side it's like 'pffft, you ain't sh*t'.

As the owner of a billion dollar international company, you can't really expect Vince McMahon to be giving personal opinions out so easily.

Also as the owner of a billion dollar company I imagine Vince McMahon is indeed a pretty good poker player, but only due his ability to buy everyone out of the table.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
