6 Things WWE Have Done Right So Far This WrestleMania Season (And 6 They Haven't)

2. Booking Roman Reigns Strongly

Despite having a rocky start to his main event rise, Roman Reigns has improved quite a bit since his return to WWE in the fall of 2014. He no longer cuts terrible, scripted promos that made stupid references to fairy tales and decades-old cartoons, instead returning to the man of few words who lets his actions speak louder than his words. At Fast Lane, Reigns proved that he could, at the very least, work a long match against a skilled opponent. In recent weeks, he has shown that he€™s improving in his match structure, and that he can wrestle against a variety of opponents. But it was this past week on RAW that he really looked his strongest. After suffering a loss to Seth Rollins, Reigns pulled of an Undertaker-like suicide dive over the top rope, as well as an impressive Spear onto a diving Seth Rollins that has since been spread around the Internet. In other words, his popularity and skill are actually growing by leaps and bounds. Of course, having Paul Heyman describe Reigns as a €˜Samoan badass with a chip on his shoulder€™ also works wonders in making him seem like a credible opponent to Brock Lesnar as well. If WWE keeps booking Reigns in this way, he might continue gaining more support from those originally considered his detractors. He is already doing a lot better than he was in late 2014, so maybe him being in the main event might not be such a bad thing after all.
