6 Things WWE Have Done Right So Far This WrestleMania Season (And 6 They Haven't)

1. WWE Possibly Leaking Information On Brock Lesnar's Future

The past few weeks have led to a plethora of €˜big news items€™ for WWE. There was the Seth Rollins nude picture controversy, Bill DeMott allegedly bullying developmental stars to the extreme, Rey Mysterio officially leaving WWE and potential legal ramifications of that decision, and most importantly, wild rumors that Brock Lesnar had a heated argument with Vince McMahon, and is going to leave WWE for UFC once his current deal expires. There is a lot of speculation on this latter point, as there is a lot of convincing evidence that he will leave, as well as the possibility that he will stay with WWE. Rumors suggest that he will leave because of dissatisfaction with his pay in WWE and wanting to work wrestle and fight at the same time. However, there is also the possibility of WWE suing Brock Lesnar should he not show up when expected to. All in all, this has been one of the biggest news issues in the last week or so, that has led to a considerable amount of speculation. What is important, however, is that this speculation is doing wonders for the main event. If Brock truly is leaving, the WWE audience will cheer Reigns, which is WWE€™s end goal. It would be the opposite of the infamous Goldberg-Lesnar match at WrestleMania XX, where both men were discovered to be leaving after their match, leading fans to reject the match entirely. This has led to the possibility that this information was leaked with the deliberate intention of increasing popular support for Roman Reigns. If that€™s true, then this is a genius move by Vince and company, who€™re using several tactics and measures to help fans cheer for Roman Reigns. As mentioned earlier, he€™s already improving in the ring and on the microphone; these rumors seem to be only adding fuel to the fire, increasing Reigns€™ popular support. On the other side of the coin, there could also be a number of fans who would simply reject the match altogether, choosing to boo both men, just like at WrestleMania XX. If that becomes the case, then it would be the perfect opportunity for Seth Rollins to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, and save an otherwise disastrous scenario. Still, in terms of building Roman Reigns€™ popularity, creating the perception that Lesnar is leaving is a great way of doing that, considering that no one likes a quitter, which might Brock might be perceived if he truly is leaving.
