There are already some tweets popping up wondering when Cass will reunite with Enzo Amore on the independent scene. Don't hold your breath for that one, because the ex-partners aren't on speaking terms at the moment, and they actually haven't been in regular contact since Enzo left WWE earlier this year.

In an interview with the Store Horseman podcast last week, Amore admitted he didn't like the way Cass handled the end of their "Brooklyn Street Fight" on Raw the night after SummerSlam 2017.

The match was supposed to be a blow off moment for their feud before Enzo moved to 205 Live, but it was marred by a sorry ending when Cass suffered a torn ACL in his knee. Then, instead of returning to the ring to finish the match, he walked away and Amore was declared the winner by default.

That angered Enzo. He couldn't believe that Cass hadn't worked through the pain long enough to take a DDT on the steel chair (like they'd planned) and let him win. In Enzo's mind, if Cass was going to be out for months anyway, he might as well have given his buddy a big victory to crow about.
