6 UFC Opponents Conor McGregor Will Probably Face Next
3. Nate Diaz
Connor McGregor is not the kind of person to leave something undecided, and with the overall score between him and Nate Diaz being 1-1, the chance to definitively prove one's dominance is too good to pass.
Nate Diaz is thinking of quitting the sport altogether, but he would definitely make an exception for a payday that a fight with McGregor entails. The lanky fighter is known to be incredibly tough to finish and unrelenting when it comes to endurance along with a ground game that puts many fighters on the roster to shame. The fact that he had already submitted McGregor in the past only makes the fight more intriguing, and with nothing left to lose he might just show his best performance yet.
To make matters more interesting, McGregor has already teased a trilogy fight with Diaz during the recent press conference and that suggestion was only strengthened by Michael Bisping who said that he believes that McGregor will indeed fight the younger Diaz brother next.
Of course, one can argue that if there is no title on the line, Connor might lose interest but, considering The Notorious wants to have at least three more fights this year, the rematch of old rivals can very well be on the cards.
