6 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 26)

Ups...

6. Never Looked Out Of Place

Adam Cole Orange Cassidy
AEW

First up, that opening tag.

Being honest, this guy has never really cared about a Wheeler Yuta match, but this effort changed that. He and Orange Cassidy work well together as a duo, and they never once looked out of place against Adam Cole and Bobby Fish. Considering the chemistry and tenure of those lads, that's remarkable.

The 'Best Friends' pair deserve a ton of credit for refusing to roll over and let some ex-Undisputed Era magic tickle their tummies. They got their licks in (Cassidy's laid-back offence is a hit with AEW crowds, and this was Wheeler's best showing to date) and didn't once get swallowed up by that star power across the ring.

AEW nailed this opening. It was a competitive tag bout, one that could pave the way for Cole and Fish to rock the Tag Title division. Also, if Tony Khan deems it necessary, Orange and Wheeler would be a fine stopgap challenge for FTR and the AAA belts.
