6 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 26)
5. Bobby Fish Gets The Win
It was even better to see Fish score the win with that avalanche falcon arrow (Excalibur's call) from the top rope on Yuta. Wheeler took that one like a champ, and it's a good thing he didn't power out on two - some moves should end matches. In other words, bumps like that one should be sold properly.
Score one for Bobby. He got to show why he's valuable to Cole and the Superkliq, which he certainly needed after being the sacrificial lamb lately. Sure, AEW could've explored Adam leaving his old pal high and dry on last week's Rampage, but they don't seem interested in booking a split story quite yet.
Fair enough.
They've moved on quickly anyway. Fish got the win, he and Cole celebrated, and now they can look forward to more tag-team goodness once Mr. Bay Bay finishes up his business with Jungle Boy. The important thing here is that Bobby's credibility was bolstered.
