6 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Rampage (May 19)

Jade Cargill's squashes have become boring over the piece, but seeing her mow down two different opponents in short order on Rampage somehow worked. She was set to annihilate a third before Taya Valkyrie returned from suspension and dropped the TBS Champ with 'Road To Valhalla'.

AEW rushed through all of the context by revealing that Tony Khan had lifted the ban on that move for a rematch vs. Jade come Double Or Nothing. Again though, it worked. Ending Cargill's unbeaten streak at 59-0 could be the best thing for all concerned too - that's started to strangle her a wee bit.

Taya holding the title for a while makes sense.

She's one of the most credible opponents Jade has had to date, and even survived losing to Cargill during their first bout. The idea of Jade effectively being beaten for the first time by her own move is rather appealing, and a decent story.
