6 Ups & 1 Down From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Oct 18)

5. All Ego Baby

Ethan Page, despite having previously appeared in Impact under the guise of Chandler Park, had his singles debut this week against Trevor Lee. Now, although this writer has repeatedly clamoured for Trevor to rise back up the ranks, it's Page that needs the win here. He's the newbie in Impact and following his debut match at Bound For Glory being a loss, he needed the win more here. Maybe next time Trevor.

The man who boasts about being All Ego is one of Canada's premier talents, and is a great asset to the roster. He's one of those names that should be getting big opportunities everywhere he goes. Think about it - he can really go in the ring, he's got bags of charisma, he has the look of a wrestler. If he wasn't running his own promotion, he'd be all over the place.

His pairing with Matt Sydal isn't a bad thing, for now anyway. If they start having weird backstage segments where they poke their foreheads that have CGI eyes, it'll all have been a waste of time.

This whole third eye schtick really is strange.
