6. Powerhouse Hobbs Moves Up Again

Powerhouse Hobbs went some way to righting his course after last week's disappointing angles, cutting an assertive backstage promo alongside Tony Schiavone.

Hobbs, who has come a long way on the microphone, claimed he had turned on Ricky Starks because 'Absolute' showed his true colours when he said he was okay with losing. Ricky had spent two years being paraded around like god's gift while hiding behind his former partner's back. Hired to ensure Ricky stayed FTW World Champion, Hobbs claimed that Starks, not himself, hadn't lived up to the bargain.

This was necessary after last week's disappointment. Starks was made to look daft by literally running away from The Factory after his win over Aaron Solo, while a meek Powerhouse smashed up a television backstage rather than intervening.

Let's get back to Hobb coming for Starks' problematic neck, like the big man said.
