This episode of Rampage was really good compared to usual standards when the show is in its typical Friday night slot, but a point still stands: Rampage shouldn't be following Dynamite or Collision. The bloom came off the rose early for the 'C' show, and it'll never shed that vibe of unimportance.

So, in short, it'd be a surprise if loads of people stuck around for the entire thing after watching Collision. Tony Khan is only running these three-hour blocks because of the NBA and NHL playoffs, but he's gonna have to switch things around - Rampage is more of a lead-in appetiser than the main course.

Simple as that.

In fairness, and perhaps contradicting the moan just a tad, this week's show did have Double Or Nothing importance and that's fantastic. However, most of the matches AEW announces for Rampage after Dynamite/Collision are too Sunday Night Heat to keep folks glued to the action.
