6 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (11 May - Results & Review)

1. Bastard Beats TV

PAC Johnny TV Taya Valkyrie
AEW

PAC vs. Johnny TV was one of the better Rampage mains we've had in a while. It's tougher than some might think to headline a three-hour block like Saturday's one, but the ex-WWE duo managed it just fine. Taya Valkyrie added to the occasion with her ringside involvement too. Hope she stays put next to Johnny for his matches after this.

She's a good worker in-ring and a good valet.

Being honest, TV was never winning this. It was the 'Bastard's' match all day long, and now PAC's on the winning trail again following that loss to Kazuchika Okada back at Dynasty. Good, because he should be someone AEW takes seriously. The man proved years ago that he's excellent in-ring but can talk when it counts too.

This was an enjoyable match, and the Bang Bang Gang's promo on the tron afterwards strived to help build something there. Jay White vs. PAC could be phenomenal if it's handled properly. That or some sort of trios situation at DoN would be fine. Either works.
