6 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 3)

5. Enjoyable Chaos (With Pacing)

A lot of AEW multi-mans fall into the trap of never slowing down at all once they speed up. The Elite's Trios Title bouts, for example, provide a dizzying sugar rush of spots, spots, spots without ever pausing to let one catch his/her breath. Rampage's four-way opening tag was a little different.

Sure, there were bags of spots, but Claudio Castagnoli brought some much-needed pacing to the bout by weaving in some nice mat work. That complemented the chaotic buzz of spots from Aussie Open (who are killing it, by the way) and Top Flight nicely.

Dark Order did their usual babyface comeback stuff, and that also worked.

Being 100% upfront, this guy didn't think he'd enjoy the opener quite as much as he did. However, a mix of top talent (Claudio is a machine), fresh faces (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher), and the general flurry of action helped things immensely.
