6 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling Emergence 2020 (Part 2)

1. A Blindfold Match

Regardless of the situation, Blindfold Matches in professional wrestling are one of the worst possible match stipulations to choose from.

This particular scenario featured Johnny Swinger against the already blind Crazzy Steve (who wore a blindfold anyway because, well, he's Crazzy Steve), a match made after 'The Swing Man' accidentally through powder into Steve's eyes as opposed to Lawrence D's. To make matters worse, there was essentially no physical involvement whatsoever in the match itself. Minimal wrestling is what we've come to expect from Blindfold Matches, but some is better than none.

The former World Tag Team Champion would defeat Swinger with a quick schoolboy, which only came after referee Cousin Jake and the rest of the Wrestle House crew at ringside distracted him. Johnny must now dress as Crazzy Steve next week, which will be something.

These Wrestle House segments are always difficult to pick apart because so much happens in one go - for example, this segment also featured the entire house wearing togas and a particularly drunk Taya Valkyrie and Alisha Edwards, while Acey Romero was having the time of his life dancing. All in all though, this wasn't it.
