6 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling Emergence 2020 (Part 2)
Ups...
6. Young Love
While the first Wrestle House instalment of the week was rather abysmal, the second half made up for it, and then some.
With an increasingly drunk Taya Valkyrie falling off the couch, John E. Bravo interrupted the date of Rosemary and Lawrence D - which was in the room next door, not exactly the most romantic setting - by slapping the XXXL member across the jaw. From there, a match was made, and a Best Hand In The House knockout punch ensured Bravo's lights were switched off. Seriously, it packs quite the punch. Literally.
After this 'match', if you really want to call it that, Bravo finally confessed his feelings for 'The Demon Assassin', which feels as if has been the whole reason for Wrestle House's existence. Taya Valkyrie, ever the self-obsessed diva we've known her to be, insisted on facing her potentially now-former tag team partner next week in an Impact first - a winner gets John E. Bravo match. Just when you thought 2020 couldn't get any wilder.
The booking of the whole Rosemary and Bravo thing has been weird for the most part, but it looks as if things will be working out for the best. Can anyone ever really complain when a story does such a thing? Well, Lawrence D probably will, anyway.
