6 Ups & 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Feb 7)

3. The Next Big Thing

Bianca Belair Jobber

Two weeks ago, Bianca Belair wrestled Local Wrestler No. 695 in a disjointed squash that attempted to present her as dominant, but suffered through a lack of cohesion. She's a bona fide star, and deserves to be booked as such, but the contest offered no upward momentum.

We're pleased to report that last night's clash with Local Wrestler No. 696 was entirely more successful.

Belair looked like a million dollars. Star power oozes from her every pore, and she has already mastered her cocky, Sasha Banks-esque swagger. She couldn't believe that her opponent even had the gall to offer a pre-match handshake, and punished her accordingly. A backbreaker rack followed, with Bianca squatting while her foe was in her clutches, procdeded by the most effortless Attitude Adjustment you'll ever see. Then, Belair crashed her victim with a reverse Powerbomb, made the cover, and score the 1-2-3.

It was exactly what it needed to be. In little over a minute, Belair looked every bit like the megastar she's set to become, with her power and charisma standing out particularly strongly.
