6 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Mar 30)

2. Big Lads Battle

It’s always enjoyable seeing Brian Cage tossing smaller opponents around the ring without a care. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not a nice sight to see him up against a lad of similar stature, which was the case as he faced Killer Kross this week. Two hosses laying into one another – there’s nothing quite like it.

Neither man really suffered too much from how the end of the match came about either. Johnny Impact put Killer Kross’ foot on the ropes to save him from a pin while Taya Valkyrie low blowed Brian Cage before the referee’s back. Two backdrop suplexes spelled an end to the match as Kross stood tall. While it comes across that Killer Kross of all people needed help to win a match, keep in mind Brian Cage is a machine and that it takes a lot to put him away. Clearly, a blow below the belt does the trick.

This rivalry, through all its ups and downs, has been rather enjoyable for the most part, especially in recent weeks. All we can hope is that this continues all the way to Rebellion at the end of April.
