Man, the tag-team division has been carrying a lot of SmackDown’s midcard in 2025, and it was lovely to see DIY and The Street Profits deliver another slice of goodness on Friday. It says everything that 10 minutes didn’t feel like enough for these 2 squads, because they were having the best time out there towards the end.

It does also feel like every win and loss means something in this division, and that’s important. Personally, this dude would like to see somebody else in the title hot seat than The Wyatt Sicks, but that’s a personal bitch. Triple H and his writing team feel differently about it, and they're the ones calling the shots around these parts.

So, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis are here to stay as champs, at least for a little while longer.

They're being head hunted by everyone from DIY, The Profits, Motor City Machine Guns and Fraxiom, to newer teams like Andrade and Rey Fenix, Melo Don't Miz and even Solo Sikoa's MFTs. That shows how ultra competitive the tag ranks are on the blue brand, which is never a bad thing.

It's a blessing for WWE to know they can stick Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa vs. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins on the card, then sit back and relax knowing the quartet will keep the crowd warm. DIY vs. The Profits did just that, and both Candice LeRae and B-FAB even got involved from ringside to give them some relevancy too.

Tag. Team. Wrestling. Is. Great.
