Triple H knows what he has in LA Knight. 'The Game' realises he can rely on LA to carry feuds pretty much on his own just by handing him the microphone. Hell, Knight had to do that for a few weeks when Logan Paul was off doing other things before SummerSlam. Now, he's carrying the can for his first follow-up feud as champ.

LA isn't carrying it all the way, at least.

Santos Escobar did appear in a pre-tape with his Legado del Fantasma pals, and he reinforced what he expects from the group. In a cool moment, Santos suggested that Legado get serious if they hope to take prizes away from men like Knight. The fact Fantasma was out to dinner instead of attending SmackDown gave LA some more material to work with.

That fed into the idea that he's an 'always on' sort of superstar who never shortchanges fans or phones it in. Nobody should have a problem with this sort of simple setup. The mic work from all concerned was good, and fans got to see LA in person. In short, the live crowd got what they wanted and the feud got what it needed.
