Downs...

2. The Online Voting Thing

First, some bad news.

WWE's writers must've all got the same bump on the head to drum up this online voting thing ahead of the women's WarGames. Basically, in lieu of a match to determine which team gets the numbers advantage, fans will vote on social media and the results will be announced during Saturday's Kickoff show.

That's...a bit sh*t. The online voting idea seemed crummy to start with, but then Bayley and Asuka teamed up to beat Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in the main event anyway. Why not just have that dramatic match (a very good one) decide which squad gets the numbers edge heading into Survivor Series?

It would've been much harder hitting to go about things that way, to be honest. Also, the concept of fans voting via X is hardly fair anyway, because it's no mystery which side they'll go with. WarGames is typically best when the heels have an advantage, but it doesn't look like that'll happen here.
