6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Collision: Holiday Bash (Dec 23 - Results & Review)

AEW in-ring standards are high, but Collision featured one of the company's best matches EVER.

Bryan Danielson Eddie Kingston

The Blue League final of AEW's Continental Classic is set.

Eddie Kingston will wrestle Bryan Danielson to find out who advances to Worlds End. Elsewhere in the Gold League, a three-way between Jon Moxley, Jay White and Swerve Strickland will settle the other side of the tournament brackets. Overall, Tony Khan can be very chuffed with the Classic - it's been producing cracking matches weekly since the beginning.

The summary line offered on socials to accompany this piece says it best. If you love pro wrestling, then you'll adore this week's episode of Collision. There was one memorable in-ring promo moment, but management used most of the two TV hours to play to the strengths of AEW's roster as a whole.

Only one bout could be considered a slight struggle, and even that's arguable. Naturally, this is just one dude's opinions, so you'll likely have your own thoughts about where company booking is heading before the next pay-per-view. Everyone will surely agree on one thing though: Dynamite on Wednesday should be another excellent show.

Here's all the good and bad from Saturday night's serving!
