6 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (29 Jan)

3. Tegan Nox' Revenge

Nox vs. Kai was one of two matches from this week's show that could've easily been kept for TakeOver: Portland. WWE might still book a rematch between this pair (there's nothing to stop Dakota from challenging her old pal to some sort of Street Fight), or they may prefer to move Tegan onto pastures new.

Options, options, options.

The best part about this one was the finish. Nox cracked Kai with a brace, chinned her with the Shiniest Wizard and then celebrated with Candice LeRae on the ramp. Take that, Dakota. This Welsh gal has some new friends now. The whole package was sensationally slick, and it was more than a bit refreshing that the babyface got ultimate revenge without any pre-planned dirty tricks by the heel.

WWE will have to be careful when it comes to Kai now. She can't just fade away into the background or become a jobber-to-the-stars for babyfaces. It might actually be smart to team Dakota up with Chelsea Green and for her to become Robert Stone's missing link to help Green rack up wins.
