With a Nick Aldis-centred RetroMania Wrestling commercial running twice during this most recent episode of NWA Powerrr, it’s safe to say that this upcoming video game looks all kinds of fun.

Expected to arrive in early 2020, RetroMania Wrestling is looking to capture the spirit and essence of the beloved Wrestlefest arcade that was released back in 1991 and has since gone on to be held up as one of the greatest wrestling games ever made.

Retrosoft Studios' upcoming release will initially feature 12 – 16 wrestlers, with the Road Warriors, Tommy Dreamer, the Blue World Order, Zack Sabre Jr., and several NWA names already confirmed as playable characters.

While the retro feel of 2D pixel art will make the game instantly appealing to a certain demographic, here’s hoping that RetroMania Wrestling lives up to the hype when it hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Seeing NWA Worlds Champion Nick Aldis promoting the game on NWA Powerrr was just an all-round big win, with the retro feel of the NWA and the retro aesthetic of the game being a perfect fit.
