6 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's NWA Powerrr (Nov 5)

4. The Sympathy For Tim Storm

If Tim Storm isn’t the most sympathetic, genuine, and likeable babyface in the wrestling world today, then Hulk Hogan never rocked a skullet, Bret Hart was never the coolest of the cool, and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin never flipped anybody off.

While Perfect Storm being the ultimate veteran babyface is nothing new by this point in time, what was so great on this week’s NWA Powerrr offering is how much Tim was pained by the fact that the NWA Worlds Championship is now out of his grasp.

As we were reminded, Tim Storm losing to NWA Worlds Champion Nick Aldis on the first episode of NWA Powerrr meant that Storm can never again challenge for the Ten Pounds of Gold. And man oh man, did this week’s Powerrr do a marvellous job of showcasing just how impactful that fact is on Tim Storm.

By Storm being so utterly devastated by this fact, the NWA yet again makes its Worlds Championship feel like the most important title in the industry right now.
