6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Monday Night Raw (10 November - Results & Review)

UPS…

6. Maxxine Is Ready(?)

One of the bigger surprises of the past few months has to be how Becky Lynch has gotten so much mileage out of her little feud with Maxxine Dupri.

While the lion’s share belongs to Becky, some credit has to go to Maxxine for leveling up to some degree and keeping up with the Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

Monday night, Dupri approached Raw GM Adam Pearce to tell him that being ready for her IC title match against Lynch is “not a feeling, it’s a choice.” Pearce made the match for Madison Square Garden next week, wishing Maxxine good luck. But before she could fully turn around, Lynch dropped her with a cheap shot, telling her that “you don’t stand a chance.”

Simple and effective. Dupri has more confidence than ever, but she is overmatched (again) heading into the biggest match of her career (again). And Becky is overconfident (again), though this brazen attitude is also tinged with a bit of doubt after underestimating and nearly being upset by Maxxine.

What will be interesting to see is if WWE (and Lynch) can make magic happen once again next week.
