4. A Magician In The Ring

You cannot heap enough praise on Chad Gable and the miracles he pulls off in the ring. The man can turn a 2-minute sprint into the best 120 seconds of Raw if given the opportunity.

But lately, he’s been turning up the volume in his feud with Gunther (and Imperium at large), delivering some of his best performances in a long time, and Monday night was no exception.

Gable battled Ludwig Kaiser in an extremely well-received match that saw fans firmly behind the former Olympian, chanting “Let’s go Gable!” at one point and rallying him repeatedly throughout the match. Credit must go to Kaiser as well, as the two don’t seem capable of delivering a bad match.

Absent the feud over the Intercontinental Championship (more on that later), this is already a renaissance of sorts for Gable, who is finally getting his due as a singles wrestler in this feud with Gunther and his goons. Monday’s match was the latest chapter in that story, and hopefully it will continue well after the IC title feud has ended.
